Artist's Description
The windmill at Blenerville is just outside Tralee , Co Kerry. It was one of the main seaports and was a main immigrant port to the Americas. In recent years Kerry County Council undertook the reconstruction of the famine Ship ' Jeanie Jonston ' which has sailed the Atlantic and visited the Main USA and Canadian ports. She is currently docked in Dublin as a major tourist attraction.
The windmill is currently used as a Craft Shop.
