The jarvey is the mainstay of tourism in Killarney, Kerry's world renowned tourist spot. deservedly so ! ( except in the height of the summer season ) the guy with the cap will bring you all over the place, at a price. A very pleasant experience jogging along past Ross castle around the lake via the Colleen Bawn for tea at the lakeside Dinis cottage and you can shoot the rapids at the meeting of the waters. Organised tours with published fixed rates are excellent. Don't worry about animal hygiene, The Local Authority have now decreed the Nappies shall be provided for all jaunting car horses.
