In 1963 the IRA blew up Dublin.s iconic monument to Lord Horatio Nelson, Lord of the Admiralty.
A silver steel spire replaced him but his memory lingers on. A Statue of Daniel OConnell, the Liberator, stands in the foreground. Untouched!!
