Description
Once very popular as a Victorian holiday resort, it is also well known for its Salmon and sea trout angling on nearby Lough Currane and rivers. Enquire locally for info.
Try the VG Lobster Bar and don't forget your photo with the Statue of Charlie Chaplin who used to holiday there back in the 70s. He stayed in the Butler Arms, still there.
Nearby ther e is top class golf on the course built from the wastelands of the sea shore by a very generous and rich American, Mr Mulcahy.
