Description
The Jeanie Johnston was one of the important Famine ships of the 1800s. She operated out of the Southern ports of Ireland to mainly Canada. Recently she crossed the Atlantic and sailed up along the east coast of the States up to Canada and returned to Ireland where she is now docked in the Port of Dublin.

The original ship and the replica were both built in Blennerhasset, near Tralee, in County Kerry.
