Artist's Description

The Arms of Clan O' Byrne, Hand drawn and painted by Val Byrne, Chieftain Emeritus, of Clan O'Byrne.
The original arms were granted to Feaghe McHugh O'Byrne of Glenmalure c: 1580.
The Crest is a Mermaid with a round mirror, golden comb and a fishtail.
The Shields tincture is Gules or Red with a Chevron with a chevron and three hands pledging Faith, Sincerity and Justice
The Motto is
' Certavi et Vici ' We strive and we win.
