Description

This panoramic view of Bray was painted on the top of Bray Head by the Rev Wm. Henry Barnard on the 8thAug1795, and captures the location of Bray in the valley formed by the , Wicklow mountains to the south of Dublin. In the foreground you can clearly see Bray at the effuent of the Dargle river, with Killiney hill behind. To the right Dalkey island can be seen jutting out.
